Cal Shasta is known for a laid back recreational lifestyle which includes water sports of all kinds. Boating, Fishing, Kayaking or just relaxing on your dock.
Community
A strong community helping and supporting members has always been what makes Cal Shasta what it is today. The Club has been through many ups and downs, but through it all, it's maintained a strong sense of community.

Cal Shasta was established in 1959 on Lake Nacimiento as primarily a hunting and fishing club. Back then it was a sleepy little backwater where you would most likely see more cows than people at any given time. Over the years it's evolved into something much more, with a dynamic range of things to do and enjoy year round. The natural beauty of the surrounding area is unsurpassed, and with 340 acres of property to enjoy, the wildlife is abundant. We're a private, gated community of 120 members, small enough to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum but large enough to have the benefits of a community.
